Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink will miss the remainder of the season after tearing the ACL in her left knee, the team announced on Wednesday.

Brink, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft, sustained the injury during Tuesday's loss to the Connecticut Sun.

"We are all heartbroken for Cameron," Sparks head coach Derek Fisher said in a statement. "She has worked so hard to get to this point, and it's tough to see her season end this way."p>
